Psycamore Mental Health Services is a licensed private psychiatric practice with four locations across Mississippi: Flowood, Southaven, Biloxi, and Columbus. The practice was founded in November 2001 by Dr. Sudhakar Madakasira, a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry. Over more than two decades, Psycamore has grown to serve children, adolescents, and adults across multiple regions of the state.
Two core structured programs form the foundation of the clinical service model at Psycamore. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) requires a minimum of 12 hours of participation per week, while the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) requires a minimum of 20 hours per week. Both programs are structured as clinical alternatives to inpatient hospitalization, designed to provide intensive psychiatric care while allowing patients to remain engaged with their home, workplace, and community throughout the course of treatment.

Program scheduling is designed with flexibility in mind, offering day, evening, and night session options so that patients can maintain work, school, and household obligations during active treatment. The practice accepts referrals from a variety of sources, including hospitals, schools, courts, urgent care facilities, and first responders.
