Counseling Practice – Greenwood Counseling

Located at 580 Decker Drive, Suite 260, Irving, Texas 75062, Greenwood Counseling is led by Marcus Greenwood, LPC-S (Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor), a clinician with over 25 years of clinical counseling experience. Greenwood holds certifications as a Cognitive Behavior Therapist, is certified in anger and depression management, and holds credentials as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. The practice also employs LPC Associates supervised by Greenwood, including Michael Sullivan, LPC-A, who provide services at reduced rates for clients seeking more accessible fee options.

Individual therapy and personal development services are offered using cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy as primary frameworks. Clinical areas addressed include severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, blended family issues, post-divorce co-parenting, substance abuse, sexual orientation concerns, weight loss, and work-related matters. The practice has also added emotional support animal assessments and letters to its list of available services. Hypnotherapy is available through Marcus Greenwood’s certification as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, adding a complementary modality to the primarily CBT- and DBT-oriented service framework.

Teletherapy is available via video conferencing for clients across Texas. In-person sessions are 50 minutes in length. Standard individual therapy is priced at $200 per session; LPC Associates offer sessions at reduced fees. The practice participates in-network with Aetna insurance; out-of-network reimbursement availability depends on the individual client’s plan. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, HSA cards, cash, personal checks, Venmo, and CashApp.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with last appointments at 6:30 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with last appointments at 1:00 PM. Services are available to adult clients aged 18 and older. Prospective clients may request a free 15-minute phone or video consultation before beginning therapy.

The office location in Irving is accessible by appointment, and the practice serves clients both locally and across Texas via its teletherapy platform.
