Counseling Practice – Yellow Ribbon Counseling PLLC

Yellow Ribbon Counseling PLLC provides trauma-informed mental health services at two Texas locations: 4100 Mesa Drive in Killeen and 203 Colonnade Parkway, Suite D, in Waco. The practice specializes in play therapy, EMDR therapy, and family therapy, serving clients across the lifespan while maintaining particular depth in child and adolescent work.

Clinicians hold training as Registered Play Therapists and are grounded in trauma-focused modalities. Specific approaches offered include EMDR Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma Focused-CBT. Play therapy services extend to children ages three and older. Individual and family therapy are available for all ages, and telehealth is offered to clients throughout Texas regardless of age.

The practice maintains bilingual capacity, providing services in Spanish for clients ages four and older. Staff members identified as offering Spanish-language services include Maria Dudley and Sara Orosco, giving the practice broad accessibility for Spanish-speaking families in the greater Killeen-Waco region.

Insurance accepted includes Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Curative, Aetna, United Healthcare, Magellan, Scott and White, UMR, Ambetter, Superior Medicaid, GEHA, and Live 360. Effective August 20, 2025, ChampVA is handled on a superbill-only basis, meaning clients seeking ChampVA reimbursement submit claims directly. The practice requires insurance verification and any applicable custody documentation before initiating services. It does not provide Emotional Support Animal letters or participate in custody evaluations.

Administrative office hours run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Evening, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday appointments are available by arrangement. New clients can schedule online through the practice website or by calling 254-213-3705.
