Psychotherapy Practice – Sea Change Psychotherapy
Sea Change Psychotherapy is based in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, offering both in-person and online sessions throughout the state. The practice was founded by Pamela Madsen, MS, LPC, ACS, RYT-200, who leads a team of six clinicians: Elizabeth Ceuninck, Anna Griggers, Tamalyn Meller, Melissa Velliquette, and Kailey Clark, alongside Madsen herself.
Individual therapy at Sea Change addresses a range of concerns, including ADHD and ADD, anxiety, chronic illness and chronic pain, dissociative identity disorder, eating disorders, grief, hoarding disorder, OCD, perfectionism, and substance use. For couples and families, the practice provides couples therapy and pre-marital counseling. Trauma-focused services address PTSD and general trauma presentations.
Therapeutic modalities in use include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). The practice identifies relational trauma, emotional abuse, eating disorders, chronic pain and illness, and alcohol use as core areas of clinical focus.
Sea Change also extends its services beyond direct client care by offering clinical supervision and consultation to other mental health professionals. This positions the practice as both a treatment resource and a professional development hub for clinicians in the Atlanta area.
Sessions are available in-person at the Buckhead location and via telehealth for clients anywhere in Georgia. Insurance acceptance and fee information are not detailed on the homepage. Appointments can be requested online through the practice’s scheduling portal, and prospective clients may also reach the team by phone at 404-448-2080.
