Marriage & Family Therapy – Ann Harder Therapy

Located in east Wichita, Kansas, within the Omni Center, Ann Harder Therapy is operated by Ann Harder, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensed in both Kansas and Washington State. Harder earned a Bachelor’s degree from Moody Bible Institute, a Master’s degree in Christian History from Wheaton College, and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University. In addition to her clinical practice, she teaches undergraduate courses at Friends University.

The practice provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy to clients ages 18 and older. Harder specializes in the Gottman Method for couples counseling, having completed Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training. Additional therapeutic modalities incorporated into her practice include emotion-focused therapy and family systems therapy. The practice addresses a range of concerns including trauma healing, depression, anxiety, boundary identification, communication improvement, and family transitions.

Sessions are offered in both in-person and telehealth formats. The practice accepts insurance as well as self-pay clients. In-network insurance plans include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Sunflower, Medicaid, KanCare, and Aetna. A Good Faith Estimate document is provided for clients who are self-pay, in compliance with federal transparency requirements.

Faith integration is available as an optional component of sessions. Harder describes her clinical orientation as addressing the integration of body, mind, and spirit, and this perspective is woven into the therapeutic process when requested by the client.
