When we perceive that we are in danger and that there is nothing we can do, the result is trauma. Trauma may leave person feeling disconnected from life or people, having flashbacks, having anxiety or panic attacks, startling easily, repeatedly ending up in similar unsafe situations, feeling stuck or frozen, having intrusive thoughts or memories or feeling numb or hypersensitive. When you and work together, we will pay attention to what is happening in the present moment and expand your ability to allow sensations and emotions without becoming overwhelmed.
