Houston Anxiety and Wellness Center is a private-pay psychology practice located at 4306 Yoakum Blvd, Suite 510, in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston, TX 77006. The center specializes in anxiety disorders, OCD, and eating disorders, serving clients across age groups from children and teens through adults and parents.

The clinical team is led by Ivy Ruths, PhD, Clinical Director and Licensed Psychologist, and Alyssa Hertz, PsyD, Director of Eating Disorders Services and Licensed Psychologist. Additional staff include Allison Leibman, M.Ed. (Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate), Bailey Grunder, M.S. (Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate), Carla Wall, M.Ed. (Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate), and Matthew Hyland (Doctoral Clinician, B.S.).

Conditions treated include anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, ARFID, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB), depression, panic disorder, phobias, social anxiety, orthorexia, and perfectionism. Primary treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and SPACE Therapy. Several clinicians hold PsyPact certification, allowing them to provide telehealth services to clients in 42 states in addition to in-person appointments at the Montrose office.

The practice operates Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM, and Saturday through Sunday, 10 AM to 3 PM. As an out-of-network provider, the center does not bill insurance directly but provides superbills that clients may submit for potential reimbursement from their insurance carriers. A free 15-minute initial consultation is available.
