Psychology Practice – South Miami Psychology Group

South Miami Psychology Group, known as SMPG, is a multi-clinician mental health practice at 10205 South Dixie Highway, Suite 203, Miami, FL 33156. The group was co-founded by Andrea L. Loeb, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist, and Summer L. Sullivan, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, and has expanded to include a large and credentialed clinical staff.

The team includes licensed psychologists, licensed clinical social workers (LCSW), licensed mental health counselors (LMHC), and a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). Named staff include Dr. Barry Ladis, Dr. Luz Berrio, Dr. Ashley Tirado-Martinez, Deborah Katsikas LCSW, Dr. Karina Luaces, Shana Friendman LMHC CAP, Dr. Peggy Rios, Cari Altman LMFT, Dr. Osuni Roque, Dr. Cynthia Herrera, Dr. Nicole Gonzalez, Dr. Carly Girnun, Dr. Natasha Poulopoulos, Dr. Katiarina Rodriguez, Anais Torres LMHC, Francesca Gamio LMHC, and Dr. Samuel Skidmore.

Services are offered across a broad range of populations and presenting concerns. Therapy is available for women, men, teens, emerging adults, children, couples, and families, as well as premarital counseling. The practice also provides psychological and developmental testing for both children and adults. Specialty areas include addiction prevention and treatment, trauma therapy, OCD treatment, eating disorder therapy, emotional freedom technique and tapping, and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy.

Sessions are conducted in person at the Miami office and via online telehealth for clients throughout Florida. The practice describes itself as out-of-network with insurance but states that staff will submit insurance claims as a courtesy on the client’s behalf. Discounted rates are available through therapists who are still in training.

The size of the clinical team and the range of licensure types on staff allow South Miami Psychology Group to offer a degree of specialization and service breadth not typically available in smaller single-clinician practices. Clients requiring assessment and testing alongside ongoing therapy, or those seeking specialized care for eating disorders or OCD alongside more general mental health support, can access multiple service types within the same group.
