Group Therapy Practice – Turning Leaf Therapy
Turning Leaf Therapy is a relational psychodynamic group practice founded in 2017, located at 123 Chestnut Street, Suite 304, in Old City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106. The practice offers in-person sessions at the Philadelphia office as well as HIPAA-secure telehealth for clients throughout Pennsylvania, with select clinicians also providing telehealth to New Jersey clients.
The clinical team includes Leah Fogel (LSW), Mallory Moore (LSW), Christine Meusz (LSW), Blake Macko (LSW), Isabelle Dewyngaert (LSW), and Kaitlin Battiste (LAPC), among others. All clinicians work within a relational, depth-oriented therapeutic framework as their primary approach. Select team members hold additional training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.

Individual sessions are 50 minutes in length. In-person appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The practice’s stated philosophy frames the therapeutic relationship as the primary instrument of change and treats presenting symptoms as signals pointing to deeper needs rather than as defects to be corrected in isolation. This relational and psychodynamic orientation shapes how all clinicians approach the work, regardless of whether they are also trained in structured modalities such as EMDR or IFS.
Insurance carriers accepted in-network include Aetna, Horizon BCBS NJ, Highmark BCBS, Capital BCBS, Anthem BCBS, Empire BCBS, FEP, United Healthcare, and Optum. Self-pay session rates range from $130 to $200. In-network copays are typically described as $15 to $50 after the deductible is met. Superbills are provided for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
The practice’s Old City, Philadelphia location is accessible to clients in the greater Philadelphia metro region, and the telehealth option extends coverage across Pennsylvania and select New Jersey locations.
