Clinical Social Work Practice – Dare to Move Counseling

Dare to Move Counseling is located in Suite 305 of Johnston Station at 5525 Merle Hay Road in Johnston, Iowa 50131. The practice is led by Michelle Coon, LISW, a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa. Coon holds a Master of Science in Social Work with a Family Therapy emphasis from the University of Iowa. Individual counseling sessions are offered. Insurance accepted includes Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield and United Healthcare. Other insurers may also provide coverage depending on the individual plan. Private pay is available as well. Office hours run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with Wednesday closing at 2:00 PM. Extended hours may be available June through August each year.
