Counseling Practice – Women’s Integrative Counseling of North Carolina
Women’s Integrative Counseling of North Carolina is a therapy practice focused exclusively on women’s mental health, with in-person offices at 2512 Independence Blvd, Suite 100 in Wilmington and at 6416 Carmel Rd, Suite 400B in Charlotte. Virtual services extend statewide, reaching Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Asheville, and additional cities across North Carolina. The practice also operates under the name Women’s Counseling NC and serves both new and returning clients across both formats.
The clinical team is composed entirely of female therapists, all of whom are currently accepting new clients. Practitioners on staff include Abbie Costanza (MSW, LCSW), Cynthia St. Clair (MA, LCMHC, LPC), Andre Ligonde (MC, LCMHCA), Elizabeth Ballantyne (MSW, LCSWA), Kristin Hoffman (MA, LCMHC, LCAS, CCS, QS, RYT-200), Anna Sevic (MSW, LCSWA), Lauren Street (MSW, LCSW), Moriah Willis (MAEd, LCMHC), Janelle M. Fleck (LCMHC, MAEd), and Lauren Rodgers (MA, LCAS, LCMHC, CMHIMP, CCATP).
Specialty areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, prenatal and postpartum support, perimenopause and menopause, PMDD, highly sensitive persons (HSP), birth trauma, infertility and infant loss, codependency, narcissistic abuse, people-pleasing and perfectionism patterns, life transitions, and young adult concerns. The practice describes its overall approach as integrative, drawing on mind, body, and spirit frameworks rather than relying on a single clinical model.
Therapeutic modalities offered include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), talk therapy, somatic techniques, and hormone-informed approaches. Service formats encompass individual therapy, couples coaching, family dynamics support, and health and wellness coaching. Both in-person and telehealth appointments are available across the two office locations and all of North Carolina via the telehealth platform.
Multiple insurance carriers are accepted, and self-pay options are available as well. A free 15-minute consultation is offered to prospective clients with no insurance required for the initial call and no payment due at that stage. Online scheduling is available directly through the practice website, and all listed therapists are open to new referrals at both locations.
