Psychotherapy Practice – Integrative Psychotherapy Associates, LLC
Founded in 2010 by a husband-and-wife team of veteran psychotherapists, Integrative Psychotherapy Associates, LLC has grown to a clinical staff of more than 20 providers. The practice maintains two Illinois office locations: Oak Park at 137 N Oak Park Avenue, Suite 400, Oak Park, IL 60301, and Downtown Chicago at 30 N Michigan Avenue, Suite 1124, Chicago, IL 60601. Individual counseling is organized by life stage: children ages 0 to 12, teens and adolescents ages 13 to 18, emerging adults ages 19 to 26, adults ages 27 to 64, and older adults 65 and above. This structure allows clinicians to apply developmentally appropriate frameworks across the full client age range. Marriage and couples counseling, family counseling, and teletherapy are available alongside the individual service tracks.
Therapeutic modalities offered at the practice include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, client-centered therapy, interpersonal therapy, family and couples therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, EMDR, and art therapy. The practice describes its overall model as integrative and collaborative, drawing from multiple frameworks according to each client’s presenting needs and stated goals.
Specialty areas listed on the site include anger management, anxiety, behavioral concerns, depression, gender identity and sexual orientation, grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and social anxiety. Insurance is accepted, and the practice describes its fee structure as fully transparent. Evening and weekend scheduling is available. New clients can typically be scheduled within one to two business days, and a free initial consultation is offered to prospective clients.
The founding in 2010 by a two-person clinical partnership and growth to over 20 providers reflects a substantial expansion from its origins. The presence of two office locations in Oak Park and Downtown Chicago gives suburban and urban clients distinct physical options, while the statewide telehealth option ensures geographic accessibility throughout Illinois for clients who prefer not to commute to either location.
