Marshy Hope Family Services is a CARF-accredited, Maryland-licensed free-standing outpatient behavioral health clinic located at 813-1 Chesapeake Drive, Cambridge, Maryland 21613. Established in 2002, the clinic serves Dorchester County and surrounding communities on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Clinical leadership includes Mary June McGinnis, LCSW-C (Managing Associate and Clinical Director), Donna Beitel, MD (Medical Director), and Meghan Cleary, LCSW-C (Program Director).
Additional staff clinicians include psychiatric nurse practitioners Alida Bushe, CRNP-PMH and Jill DePhillip, CRNP-PMH; licensed clinical social workers Felix Nathan, Suzan Parker, and Anna Pokrywka; and licensed master social workers Melanie Craig and Kathleen McQuoid-Parson. The multidisciplinary clinical team of 11 professionals supports service delivery across both psychiatric and therapeutic domains, including psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
Telehealth is available when clinically appropriate. The clinic accepts a wide range of insurance plans, including Medicaid, Medicare, BlueCross/BlueShield, Magellan, United Behavioral Health, Aetna, Claimsbridge, and Cigna. A sliding scale fee structure based on income and eligibility is available for qualifying clients, making services accessible to a broader range of community members.
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with evening appointments available by arrangement for select providers. Saturday hours run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. by appointment only. New clients are directed to contact the Business Office Manager at the main number to complete a phone intake before submitting paperwork. New clients are asked to bring a state-issued ID and insurance card to their first appointment. Minors require a birth certificate or custody documentation when applicable.
