Mental Health Practice – Vance Mental Health Services

Vance Mental Health Services has been providing talk therapy to adults, couples, families, young adults, children, and teens since 2007. The practice is located at 601 Post Office Road, Suite 2B, Waldorf, MD 20602, and draws on a large multidisciplinary clinical team that spans licensed doctoral-level psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed counselors, and graduate-level trainees.

Appointments are available both in-person at the Waldorf office and via telehealth. The practice accepts Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, GEHA, Medicare, United Health Services, and Tricare/Humana. Medicaid is not accepted. Active duty U.S. military members covered under Tricare/Humana are required to obtain pre-authorization before scheduling.

Receptionist office hours run from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. No referral from a physician or other provider is required to schedule an appointment, though individual insurance plans may impose their own referral requirements.
