EMDR therapy, Mindfulness (including Somatic Experiencing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) have all been thoroughly researched and have been proven to be helpful for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and general stress levels. These interventions can help change the brain and body in ways that allow the client to have more choice, increase ability to manage stress, improve quality of relationships, decrease depressive symptoms, improve general health, increase energy level, decrease addictive symptoms and improve academic/work performance.
