Mental Health Practice – CalmOCD
CalmOCD is a mental health practice with three office locations across two states: Scottsdale, Arizona (10245 E Via Linda, Suite 225); Tucson, Arizona (1760 E River Rd, Suite 250); and Sandy, Utah (1218 E 7800 S, Suite 210). The practice serves individuals ages 5 and up through in-person and telehealth formats and describes itself as a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for all clients, including the LGBTQIA+ community.
The primary clinical focus is obsessive-compulsive disorder across multiple subtypes, including contamination OCD, harm OCD, health concern OCD, relationship OCD, and additional variants listed on the site. Beyond OCD, the practice addresses generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, eating disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors, and co-occurring depression. This range of anxiety-related and behavioral conditions allows the practice to serve clients whose presentations include overlapping diagnostic concerns.
Treatment modalities include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), inference-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (I-CBT), and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions). SPACE is a structured approach designed to support parents and caregivers of children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, guiding family members in modifying accommodation behaviors that can maintain or intensify anxious responses over time.
Program formats range from single outpatient sessions to a structured intensive outpatient program (IOP), along with family and couples sessions, home visits, community visits, and therapeutic goals groups. These varied formats are designed to match clients to the level of care that fits their clinical and practical needs. Telehealth services are available to residents of Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, South Dakota, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Washington.
Complimentary 15-minute consultations are available to prospective clients. The practice states a 48-hour response timeframe for all inquiries submitted through its contact channels. Contact information includes phone (480) 687-3435, fax (480) 687-7061, and email inquiry@calmocd.com.
