P.B.S. Mental Health Associates, P.C. is a comprehensive psychiatric and counseling practice operating at two locations in western Pennsylvania: 901 East Brady Street, Suite 103 in Butler, and 1000 Gamma Drive, Suite 100 in Fox Chapel. The practice has been active since at least 1984 and is led by managing partners John H. Soffietti, MD; Ira S. Handler, MD; and Jennifer L. Wildpret, DO.

The clinical staff includes four psychiatrists and osteopathic physicians, six licensed clinical social workers, eight licensed professional counselors, one clinical nurse specialist, two nurse practitioners, and one physician assistant. Among the named clinicians are Joyce Cicco (RN, MSN, CS, specializing in cognitive-behavior therapy) and Jennifer Angert (psychiatric nurse practitioner). Several therapists hold certifications in specialized modalities including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).

The practice treats a wide range of mental health conditions in children, adolescents, and adults. Conditions addressed include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, marital and family difficulties, and behavioral consequences of brain diseases. Services encompass individual psychotherapy, medication management, family counseling, and couples therapy. Telehealth appointments are available through certain providers at the practice.

P.B.S. Mental Health Associates accepts most insurance plans but does not accept Medical Assistance or state-funded commercial insurance. A cancellation fee of $75 applies to appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. Business hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
