Psychology Practice – Bay Psychology Partners
Bay Psychology Partners has operated at 2450 Old Shell Road, Mobile, Alabama 36607 since 1999. The practice is staffed by two licensed psychologists: Laura G. Goulden, PhD, and Caron Langan Mastrone, PhD. Dr. Goulden earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed a fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology; she is not currently accepting new patients. Dr. Mastrone holds her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Union University and completed post-doctoral training in developmental pediatric medicine.
Services include individual therapy and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Mastrone delivers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments for emotional, behavioral, and adjustment difficulties. Both clinicians assess developmental and childhood disorders, including autism spectrum disorders; each is trained in the ADOS-2 diagnostic instrument. Dr. Mastrone has specific expertise evaluating the developmental consequences of premature birth and developmental delays.
The practice conducts sessions in person. Office hours run Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A 24-hour cancellation policy applies to therapy appointments, while testing appointments require 72 hours’ notice.
Insurance accepted includes Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. Private pay rates are $200 for intake therapy sessions and $150 for follow-up therapy sessions. Psychological evaluations are priced between $1,400 and $1,800. Payment methods include debit and credit cards, checks, cash, and electronic payment links.
