Mental Health Practice – BrainBody Wellness Counseling
BrainBody Wellness Counseling is a holistic mental health practice based in Scottsdale, Arizona, with offices at 7730 E Greenway Rd, Suite 205, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. In-person and virtual services are available throughout Arizona. The practice was founded by Dr. Ali (Iverson) Schilling, Psy.D., a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
The clinical team includes Jennifer Salazar, LPC; Amanda Nomicos, LPC; Gabrielle Rozio, Psy.D.; Lisa Johnson, LPC; Jenna Ciancanelli, LPC; Jessica Cronk, LAC; and Meghan Kershinar, LAC. Across the team, the practice reports more than 50 years of combined clinical experience and serves over 140 clients on a weekly basis.
Services cover individual, couples, teen, and child counseling. Therapeutic modalities offered include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Brainspotting, and somatic and mindfulness-based approaches. Parent coaching and SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) training are also available for caregivers of children experiencing anxiety.
Specialty areas include trauma and PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, ADHD, OCD (addressed through an affiliated separate clinic), autism and neurodiversity, bipolar disorder, and workplace mental health. The practice serves clients across a broad age range, from children through adults, with dedicated teen programming as part of the service offering.
Insurance acceptance varies by clinician; plans include United Healthcare, BlueCross BlueShield, and Aetna. Free consultation calls are available for prospective clients. The depth of the modality list, which spans EMDR, Brainspotting, IFS, ART, ERP, and somatic approaches in addition to CBT, DBT, and ACT, reflects a multi-method clinical team rather than a single-approach practice. Parent coaching and SPACE training extend the practice’s work beyond individual clinical sessions to include systemic family-level support. The affiliated OCD-specific clinic offers a dedicated treatment pathway separate from the general counseling services. Office hours are by appointment Monday through Saturday.
