Jacob’s Ladder Therapies is a multi-clinician mental health practice headquartered in San Jose, California, with in-person locations in San Jose, Hayward, and Vallejo, and virtual telehealth services extending to clients in California, Indiana, Massachusetts, Colorado, and New Jersey. The practice is led by CEO Tametra Johnson, LCSW, CASDCS. Therapeutic modalities in use include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Specialty areas addressed include depression, anxiety, academic stress, trauma, ADHD, low motivation, parent-child conflict, co-parenting concerns, life transitions, social-emotional intelligence, and executive functioning.

Insurance networks accepted include Lyra, Modern Health, BHS, Aetna, United Healthcare (Optum), Oxford (Optum), Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey, and TriWest. Superbills are provided for out-of-network reimbursement. Session fees are $225 for individual, $275 for family or couples, and $175 for group sessions.
